Maria Hagberg has extensive experience working with commercial contract law and niche expertise in energy law. Maria has been negotiating and drafting contracts in all areas of commercial law for more than 20 years (manufacturing, purchase/sale, delivery, distribution, partnerships, several types of collaborations and transactions and much more). In the field of energy law, Maria has provided extensive commercial and regulatory advice in the electricity, gas and renewable fuels markets, on both a national and EU legal basis. Maria’s work has included, among other things, assisting in the establishment of solar and wind power plants and negotiating and drafting connection, distribution and transmission agreements.
Maria has also participated in many public reviews in the field of energy law, which has included drafting proposals for several types of legislation. The inquiries have concerned purely Swedish conditions as well as the introduction of EU law into Swedish law. Maria advises Swedish and foreign companies, Swedish authorities and municipal companies.
